Not long ago, I was over the moon about how I'd broken through a barrier that stopped me from maturing. But even though that's still the case, something...terrible's happened.

My mother's boyfriend shouted at me last night saying that I was ungrateful and stuff and he was so close to hitting me that my mum had to step infront of me to shield me. Now he's not what you'd call an abuser, but he's one of those people who loses their temper and goes big-time.

I got no sleep last night. I stayed up all night, so worried that he might just burst into my room and yell at me some more and hit me for real.

I'm sick of living in a house where i'm constantly scared and worried. I really want to move out and leave. But I don't want to hurt my mother...i love her to bits, but I can't stand to be near her boyfriend! :'( I really don't know what to do.

To the person who said that they hope that my luck keeps...you should've said "knock on wood".

My luck has changed...permanently...
